Note :
All references to the ZCS apply to the ZCSQ and Last Chance as
well.
Entry Rules
- The Directors
or Host may refuse any entry based on any of the following
:
- inappropriate behavior or unethical tactics in other
ZCS, tournament
or league matches,
- an unsatisfactory
record of completing matches in previous ZCS tournaments,
- providing incomplete or false information
with their entry, or
- sanctions by the Zone.
- Each person may submit only one entry form.
Any and
all Zone nicknames that players wish to be considered must be listed on the entry form. The nickname that
will be used to play will be determined by the
priorities incorporated in the eligibility criteria.
- All Players must provide a personal email
address. This email will not be publicized on the
ZCS-ZCSQ site. Instead, a ZCS-ZCSQ.com email address
will be used to forward all email to the
player's personal email address.
Rules of Play
- Match
results must be posted, by the winner, within 24 hours of
match completion and before that round has ended.
- Players may not receive assistance of any kind from
any source during a match. This includes, but is not limited
to, reference material, automated backgammon programs, or other
humans.

the outcome of the tournament is prohibited.
- All
matches will be played in the Doubling Cube room.
During
a match, players’ ZM must be on and set to DND,

Rules of Conduct
- MSN Gaming Zone COC must be adhered to at all times
while playing in the ZCS tournaments, as well as
maintaining a high standard of ethical behavior and sportsmanship. Any lapse risks disciplinary action from the Host
that may include, but is not limited to, forfeiting points,
forfeiting matches, or disqualification.
- Matches may be analyzed and this analysis may be
published. Players agree to this by entering. If either player
requests the dice log to be saved so that it can be snowied

at the table after the conclusion of the match until the dice
log has been saved.
Replacements/Substitutions
- Any player who
does not show any matches played within 7
days of the start of the round or at least 5 matches within 14

one of these requirements and wish an exception, you must notify the Host, in advance,
with sufficient cause.
- The Host has the discretion to replace
a player when they withdraw, or are removed
by the Host. If there are no valid played games, the
replacment player will play as a regular player and may
advance as any other player would. If there are
valid played games, then the replacement player will
assume the wins and losses of the replaced
player, and
may still advance as any other player can. All Replacement Players for the ZCS Round 1 will be selected from the
ZCSQ, and for the ZCS Round 2 from Round 1.
General
- All
rulings during the active tournamanent will be done by the
Host. Any entrant wishing to dispute a Host ruling may
do so by directing the issue to the Tournament Directors, whose
decision is final. Where appropriate, the Directors will appoint
others to adjudicate on appeals in their place.
- Notwithstanding any of the above the Directors may
amend or add to these rules should in their view circumstances
make it necessary in order to best achieve the purpose of the
ZCS or ZCSQ.
